Questions?

How soon should I schedule my session?

I recommend booking your family session as soon as possible, since I accept a limited number of sessions per month. During peak seasons my clients often schedule several months in advance.

What if the weather is bad the day of my outdoor session?

To confirm the photoshoot, I require a fee of $100 to hold the specific date and time. Retainers are deducted from the total balance of the shoot prior to final payment. Remaining balance is due the day of the shoot.

In case of rainy weather, we can reschedule. If that is not possible and you or me will not have another time, I refund 100% of your prepayment. In other cases, the retainer is non-refundable.

Can I choose photos for detailed retouching by myself?

Yes, absolutely! After our photoshoot I will send you all photos with color correction, you can then choose the best images for retouching.

What if my child won't sit still, or is tired/cranky the day of the session?

As a parent myself I know how kids can be. I love working with little ones, and have tricks for handling all that glorious energy that comes with being a kid! My sessions are fun, interactive, and I keep things moving!

What time of day is good for a photoshoot?

I love early mornings and during sunrise and sunset hours! Morning light is lovely and it is less likely to be interrupted by passersby. Also, mornings tend to be when young children are most awake and ready for a mini adventure. But if mornings are not for you or have older children who aren’t tied to naps, I recommend choosing the "golden hour".
What is golden hour? It’s the time shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which the sun is low on the horizon creating that signature soft and warm dreamy glow.  Basically, it’s magic light!
Please note that photos taken at different times of the day and weather will vary in color and lighting.
